Drive to Sigiriya and ascend the legendary 5th-century rock fortress — a UNESCO World Heritage Site towering 200m above the jungle. Marvel at the ancient frescoes, mirror wall, and the spectacular panoramic views from the summit. Afternoon visit to the Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park for an elephant gathering experience. Explore the magnificent 11th-century royal capital of Polonnaruwa — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cycle through ancient ruins including the Gal Vihara rock temples with their majestic carved Buddha statues, the Royal Palace complex, Rankoth Vehera stupa, and the Lotus Pond.
